elsmandino 4 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Hello, I am very much a newby and am in the process of configuring Emby server on LInux (specifically Openmediavault). I have a folder, called "Movies", which is being shared as both NFS and Samba (because I have a mixture of Linux and Windows clients) on my network. - most of my Kodi client's are on raspberry Pis, but I have a few on Windows laptops. I am not quite sure what form to use for the network path. Should it be \\server\movies\ or should it be /server/movies/? I have read the first is for Windows and the second is for Linux, but when I am serving to both, I am not sure which to use.
Luke 42079 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Yes that could be tough but I would try the windows version first. Let us know how you get on. Thanks.
