Question about my metadata settings

The 4.0.1 release resolved the regression created in 4.0. If you had the 4.0 release, try refreshing metadata on existing titles if they were not identified at all. After that If you're still having an issue we need to look at it from the beginning. Thanks.

Good evening,

emby no longer identifies the new films that I insert and do not download the covers. Even if I ask to identify the film by supplying the name of the film or the imdb code, the search does not provide any results.

I am using version 4.1.1.0, I have tried also with the beta but the problem is not solved.

What can I do?

Thank you.

Hi. This sounds like you probably have a network issue but please see: How to Report a Problem and supply the server log.

Thanks.

It looks like you went back and forth between beta and stable and this is not supported. Why did you do that?

yes I did this because the transcoding was unstable in the beta so I returned to the stable.
Now how can I solve without losing all the settings and viewing status of movies and TV series?

Did you leave feedback in the testing area of the community about this?

No, I didn't think about it.

So why not go back to the beta and report your issue?

I returned to the beta version and in any case emby does not identify any films or TV series, the search remains empty.

No searches against internet metadata providers were attempted. I would suggest checking the settings for your movie library and make sure the providers are enabled. It looks like you may have turned them off.

I don't know why they were off.
Now the films and TV series are identified but still cannot download the cover images, etc.
I attach the log again.
Thank you.

Did you enable Show Advanced Setting  and enable the image fetchers also?

What Metadata downloader and Image fetcher providers do you have enabled?

Even image fetchers were disabled, perhaps it had happened when I made the transition from beta to stable.
Everything works now.

Well yea, you shouldn't do that. Thanks for the feedback.
