paul1965 2 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 I've noticed an issue with the Latest library sections showing less content after adding a new (large) series. For example, today I added the UK version of Shameless to my Cable library. Prior to adding it, I had a full row of Latest Cable shows. After adding Shameless UK initially everything seemed fine, but then the latest episode of Vikings was added, and you can see the list of latest episodes has shortened itself from a full row of eight to six. I should point out though, that this also happened when I used Plex. Does anyone know why this happens? All of the episodes shown in "Before" were added within the last couple of days.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 @@Luke Isn't there a total item limit in these sections?
paul1965 2 Posted January 24, 2019 Author Posted January 24, 2019 What version of Emby Server? Sorry, this is running 3.5.
Luke 42089 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Yes based on items displayed, not the counts.
Luke 42089 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Try updating to the latest version of emby server.
paul1965 2 Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) I do have the latest version installed on another PC, but per another post of mine I don't care for the portrait images and am not currently running it. However I have started it and am letting it scan the library to see what happens. It's not really an issue with how the library is being displayed, more of an observation of odd behavior. After 2 more new cable episodes were added, it's back to the usual full row. Edited January 25, 2019 by paul1965
Luke 42089 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 The version applies the limit after the grouping so you will get more results.
paul1965 2 Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 The version applies the limit after the grouping so you will get more results. Thanks for that info. It did scan and update just fine without dropping any series from the list. Hopefully you'll have something out soon so the images can be changed to landscape so I can resume using the latest version. I do still find it interesting that Plex had the same issue. As always thanks for the quick replies!
