TrackZ 16 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Right now MBT allows you configure an external player using an internal ISO mounter for disc images. This is good, but per some of the feedback threads and my own experience, it's difficult to get this working completely with PDVD and TMT. This is especially true with controlling which mode of those programs is being used (i.e. desktop vs. cinema vs. media center mode). To address that, I'd like to propose the following: 1. Allow configuration of an external ISO mounting program (i.e. Virtual Clone Drive). 2. On playback of an ISO, when configured as such, just trigger the ISO mount using the external mounter and do NOT try to trigger playback to any actual player software. Just let us configure the target program for DVD/BD discs using Windows autoplay capability. All MBT needs to do is make that mount. This was possible in MB2 in Media Center IIRC when I was using that. It supported an external mounter. This way there's no configuration difficulty or hassle factor within MBT trying to link out to PDVD, TMT, or other player software. Users can easily set whatever third-party program they want in whatever mode we want and it will work.
