Collections/box sets not showing

Hey guys,

Just updated to the latest version. Collections are k my showing in libraries designated movies. I have multiple genre based libraries, using mixed content as a type. Folder structure is (as an example)

 

Horror

/horror/films

/horror/tv

 

The tv shows are fine, it also automatically finds all the films, but, won't organise them into collections, which it always used to do. It's definitely a pain I sci-fi and horror, as I have a ton of multi film series, like elm street, or alien. The extras folders seem to work fine too

 

When I choose add to collection, the option is prefilled for most of these, but, in the view option it's not available (the show collections tickbox)

 

Am I doing something dumb?

I generally used the auto collection plugin. Or, right click on the film and choose add to collection

I should add, they show in the collections library, just not in the library that the originals are in

 

Whn I go to the 3 dots in the main folder (ie horror/films) it only gives me the option to choose image type. In the main movies folder, there is another option there to show movies in collections

I am yes, sorry I thought I had said that originally. It only stopped working when I upgraded to version 4, was fine (in fact brilliant) before that

 

As long as in the main folder I had two folders, one called films, one called tv. It seemed to recognise the type by that, and it automatically put the films in collections, with the metadata from the online sources

Ah ok, no worries. It was in version 3 wasn't it? I didn't dream that?

It was a global setting in 3.5.
