daveyravey1972 3 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Any idea why my all my FireTV devices take ages to stream live TV through HD Homerun? 10-15 seconds until TV starts? HD homerun app works immediatley and Emby on my Samsung TV starts Live Tv within 3 seconds....
ebr 16184 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Hi. We'd have to look at a specific example but one thing you can do is ensure "Direct Stream Live TV" is enabled in the app settings. How to Report a Problem

Tuning to a channel using hdhomerun and circle spins and eventually stops with error message asking if i have audio video issue... What usually fixes this is to close the app and try a different hd homerun channel. Hd homerun works fine on iphone emby app ... just firetv is the issue.

daveyravey1972 3 Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 Ah that’s probably as one of my network drives is offline. Weird thing is last night and today tv tuner is working perfectly and fast to start as well. Has there been an update to the firetv app?
