User config to disable "Live TV" but still allow "Guide" and recording managements.

If I disable "Live TV" the "Guide" feature also disappears.

 

Am I missing a way to manage scheduled recordings with the "Live TV" turned off in the user profile?

 

I want users to be able to manage recording schedules but not be able to hog up a tuner with "Live TV"

 

I'm using Version 4.0.0.2

 

with an Emby Premiere Key

It appears Emby is using Schedules Direct but I wanted to be sure this wasn't an issue.

Interesting.  You can do the opposite but not enable recording management and NOT live playback.

I second this.  Live TV doesn't work too well on my NAS.  Loads of skipping and pausing (MPEG2)  I'd prefer to completely disable Live TV, but be able to manage and schedule recordings (which are transcoded to h264 by the server for optimal playback).
