Endymion 6 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 (edited) I didn't sign up to be a Beta tester nor did a lot of the other users. It seems every time you all release an update there are issues. As if, none of these updates are properly tested. Here is an issue that I believe, would have been caught, if properly tested. Movies that I have extra content (deleted scenes, bloopers, etc) have a folder inside the movie folder (Movies\Eagle Eye\Extra\videos). Before this update, all that content was inside the respective movie menu. Now, all the content is being treated as individual movies and being scanned for Metadata and posted in the Movie Menu as Movies. See attached Pic. I'm sure I don't have to explain the headache that causes. I'm not even sure where to start to clean that mess up. Edited January 20, 2019 by Endymion
Happy2Play 9785 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 (edited) movie folder (Movies\Eagle Eye\Extra\videos) Sorry no image attached. All my media with extras folders do not show as individual items in Movie or Mixed content type. I assume it is a "extras" folder and not "extra", correct? I don't know if anyone has ever tested a "extra" folder. There is a patch coming for a issue found with the other extras folders listed in the wiki. Edited January 20, 2019 by Happy2Play
Endymion 6 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Sorry, didn't hit, "Attach This File". No, I don't have that many copies of ET. lol So, it would seem that the spelling is key. Part of my old collection has the folder "Extra".. the newer folders have "Extras". I went and browsed through my collection and that seems to be the issue. It's seems, that I have to go through all those and add an "s". Ugh I'll get on that ... run another scan (takes awhile) and let you know.
Endymion 6 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 OK... that seems to have done the trick. I renamed all (most) the folders that was named "Extra" to Extras", ran a scan and it looks pretty clear now. At least I don't have 100's ET movies. lol That's a relief. I had no clue on how to fix that with out the chance of deleting content. Still not sure why it became an issue now, when it wasn't before.
