Godfather67 0 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 (edited) I'm running Emby on a Synology 918+ ( DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 4), upgraded to 4.0.0.2. After libraries successfully re-scanned, I've started cleanup of some movies due to found it duplicated in different folders. After a while, I've realized, movies started to disappear from the catalog. When I checked folders on NAS volume, I've recognized, that full content of a folder have been deleted, but I don't remember that i clicked on any folder removal. That folder still part of the Movies library, but movie files deleted by Emby as seen in the log. I've attached the embyserver.txt. Can you investigate was it my fault or a possible malfunction of the new version? embyserver.txt Edited January 19, 2019 by Godfather67

Godfather67 0 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Hi there, can you go over an example of something that's not showing up? thanks ! Hi, you can see it in the attached log, that server started to delete mkvs at 10:59:42.
Godfather67 0 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Are the files still there? No, it have been deleted from the volume.
Luke 42077 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Right but Emby isn't actually deleting files here. What it's doing is deleting database entries after the library scan has realized that files have been deleted. The only time Emby would ever delete a file is if you used the delete function, which it looks like you did for a few videos.
