chef 3810 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) I read through some post from a couple weeks again, I thought maybe you had changed "SendBrowseCommandAsync" to "ShowContent" or whatever you guys where thinking to change it too, but it hasn't been changed in the API yet. "SendBrowserCommandAsync" doesn't seem to cause MBC browse to any selected library or media item anymore. I am not sure if it is a bug or not so thought I had better mention it. I do spend quite a bit of time lurking around the remote functions so when something stops working like it use to, I get it right away. Even if my kinect app doesn't work for other people lie it is supposed to... Edited April 29, 2014 by chef
Luke 42077 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 i think he's using BaseApiWebSocket from the apiclient package. i need to update that. i'll do it tonight.
ebr 16169 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I'm not actually using any of the stock APIClient stuff and MBC should be still responding to both the old and new remote commands... It works with the web client (at least it did a couple versions ago).
chef 3810 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 @@ebr It is strange, as of the update I added of the ApiInteraction.dll today, I am not able to browse. I would test the Web client, but because it currently isn't expressing any "NowviewingItem" information, my kinect app is broken with it. MBC shares that information so I am able to pinpoint the library the item is in, but I can not browse. I'll post back if I find anything in my code, Other then updating the General Commands, and splitting up the Now viewing Item to it's own parameter I haven't changed an code, and it was working fine up until the last release of the Api.
chef 3810 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 This is very, very strange. I loaded the old APIInteraction.dll into the app, and I can't browser. All the Fields are filled in properly, add the information is there, but the browse commands just won't work.
chef 3810 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Okay, updated again, because it is better to keep up. Still no joy from browse.
Redshirt 1487 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The old browse to command was broken for me as well in android. it resumed working when I updated MBC to .157 or newer.
chef 3810 Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 @@ebr Browser still seems to be broken in .157
chef 3810 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Okay updates to the latest dev build and all is well.
