Happauge Tuner - Does it always need to transcode?

You can see here Im plaaying a channel through the Android TV App, and it took a good 10-20 seconds to load (Which in my opinion is a bit too long).

Was this because it was Transcoding while loading which caused the long load time?

And is it possible to NOT transcode as I dont feel its necessary in my opinion.

 

My Live TV Setup is using the direct Happauge Detect Tuner, not using any plugin.

Thank you, but im getting issues recording, it could be because of Direct Stream but im not sure

If I click the record icon in the player while playing, it will say to double click to record series but once that goes away it says recording failed, so it essentially instantly failed.

Also when using a Happauge Tuner + m3u tuner, how can I order the channels how I want, for example the top of my happauge tuner is BBC One (ch#1) but I want to add 3 channels from my m3u tuner to the start as ch#1-3, so bbc one needs to now be #4, is this possible? In Happauge WinTV I can set BBC One + starting at c#4, but how can I make sure emby sets the m3u tuners at the right order?
