New TV episodes treated like movies since update

Hi,

Having trouble with new TV episodes that I've added since moving to Version 4.0.0.2. The library is mixed and every new episode I've added today (both to existing show folders and new shows just added) is not scraping correct metadata and displays as a movie. The library consists of 2 folders, each on a different NAS, with a structure like New Episodes>Show Name>Season>Episode.mkv - can you take a look please?

Altermatively, if you want to try the 4.1 beta server, there's a good chance it may resolve it as it resolves similar reported issues.

Hi Luke,

Here's an example from another mixed library, hosted on the same machine running the server. This library is everything in C:\Users\david\Downloads\Media.

 

 

If I do move to beta, are there any issues moving back to release fork later?

Just a quick comment but you should name your files correctly to save additional grief.

Moved to Version 4.1.0.0 beta - issue is still there, last nights TV downloads picked up wrong metadata and display as movies.

Did a bit of testing and yes, only happens when it's a single episode.

Have this problem too, or at least something similar. Have a library called TV with sub folders like Drama, Comedy etc.(mixed content). When i try to add a single file it scans in but the folder that i put it into dissapears on emby after scan and all the other content in that folder and i'm left with the new single file visible with the other folders. IE if i put it into DRAMA folder, that folder dissapears when i click on the library and i see the single file\episode with COMEDY folder in the library.

Really frustrating.
