Slower skipping in 4.0?

I upgraded to new version v4 yesterday and notice there's a few seconds delay when skip forward/backward even when watching movie at the media server (localhost). The movie is in Full HD which I doesn't have any issue with skipping forward/backward before the upgrade, it immediately played without any delay. Is there anyway that I can downgrade to v3.5 ?
