legallink 187 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 So, I have an episode, I find the file, and Emby is currently selectively finding it. The episode shows up on "Next Up" and also shows up On "Latest TV" On "Upcoming" and on the actual season of the TV show, it shows it as "Missing". The most confusion part is that for "Upcoming" it says missing, but then gives the media info. Thoughts? I attached the various screen shots that I think are helpful to illustrate.
Happy2Play 9784 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Does a library scan resolve the issue? Or doing a Refresh metata-Refresh all on the item shown as Missing? Possibly different cached ids for the episode (ie provider site may have changed something) as missing comes from cached info.
legallink 187 Posted January 18, 2019 Author Posted January 18, 2019 (edited) A full library scan does resolve this, but historically that hasn't been necessary. I have "active monitoring" checked for the respective library. I didn't check on meta refresh, I can try that next time. I don't think it's a different cached id, as it shows correctly in one place, indicates that it has the media, but the two displays don't link for some reason. If you look at the photos, it says "Missing" at the top, but then populates the correct media info (including the correct file). Which would by necessity mean that it isn't missing but for some reason the detail areas are not drawing information from the same place, or one is taking a lot (meaning hours) longer to populate than the other. The three pictures I provided are: 1. The episode screen (note it says missing up top, but shows media info below) 2. Next Up (which only populates when it finds the file and displays it for the next up to watch) 3. The Season episode list (which shows the file as missing) All the screen shots were taken a couple hours after uploading the file, within 90 seconds of each other. -------However this might have been a day 1 of the new server build issue. Let's not worry about it til day 5. It seems today things are responding quite quickly....so consider the problem solved til I bring it up again. Edited January 18, 2019 by legallink
