Help with Kinect voice control

Hi All,

 

I have just installed all the software for the Kinect ( Old Xbox 360 Kinect not the latest Xbox Kinect) I can't seem to get the Kinect to hear my commands  does the old Kinect have a inbuilt microphone and if so how do I activate the microphone to use with the mediabrowser3?

 

I'm having other small issues as well with this but I'll get one thing at a time sorted sorry people very new at this.
