Luke 42085 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Yes because some people were using it to disable plugin updates altogether, which can lead to things being in a broken state following a server upgrade.

Is it possible to have it back in the future Maybe just put a warning if someone disables it so they know what they are getting into it? I found being able to force check for updates to be super handy as sometimes (for whatever reason) Emby wouldn't notify me of any plugin or app updates unless I forced it too. Thanks @@Luke!

revengineer 142 Posted January 17, 2019 Author Posted January 17, 2019 The issue was that the plugin update did not trigger at emby server startup and I tried multiple time. Eventually I deleted coverart and reinstalled it. Suddenly all other plugins updated automatically. So issue is solved, but I do not understand it.
Luke 42085 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 You may have deleted all of the scheduled task triggers for it in the past. Try deleting this folder under your server's programdata folder /config/ScheduledTasks Then restart the server. Thanks.
