Nvidia Shield LAN IP Address

Hi.

 

I've recently installed 4.0.0.0 (but even on the ofifical released version) I've noticed the LAN IP address on the dashboard is 192.168.49.1.

 

This address is also shown if I select Emby Server from within the Shield

 

All my LAN addess' are 192.168.1.XXX.

 

The Shield is on 1.70 and if I enter this into a browser it works as it should.

 

I'm just wondering where the 49.1 number is coming from?

Do you have any kind of dongle attached to the Shield that could be confused as a network adapter (like a BT adapter)?

All I have attached is a USB drive

It's probably some virtual adapter that is being detected.

 

What you can do is go to advanced server settings and override this by entering an address in the bind to local IP field.
