goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 just updated to Server 4.0.2. Noticed that shows i haven't watched yet are showing up in my Next Up section, but its not showing up to play S01E01... its showing up S01E02. If i mark the whole series as played, it does the same thing with another series. Anyone else seeing this?
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 hi there, can you show a screenshot example? thanks.
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 If you edit the metadata, does it have a custom sort title?
goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 It does not... Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 now its changed to this... is it possible its still doing a library scan in the background or something?
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Yes please wait for the library scan following the update to finish. Thanks.
purger500 13 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Everything is finished on my side and problem still persists. If I mark True Detective as watched, another unwatched show apears.
purger500 13 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 UPDATE: I removed network path from TV shows library and scan library. Then I put network path back and rescan the library. All is fine now. There is no problem anymore.
DarkZim 2 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I am having this exact same issue, although I was having it before the update as well.

Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 This appears to be the same issue reported here. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/65977-36073-spurious-content-getting-into-next-up I have one unwatched series the changes almost everyday. Have even seen a series from another library if I mark all rogue unwatched series as watched.
goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 17, 2019 Author Posted January 17, 2019 (edited) Ok, remapped all my libraries (scans took forever). Now i have this. At least its the first episode of a show... Edited January 17, 2019 by goldsworthy1

goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 18, 2019 Author Posted January 18, 2019 So, i noticed that the random "next up" show disappeared today, then i watched an episode of something, and a new one was back. Looked in the server log for the episode i watched and found this. 2019-01-18 13:38:23.645 Info App: Bitrate exceeds DirectPlay limit: media bitrate: 832254, max bitrate: 3200002019-01-18 13:38:23.645 Info App: Profile: Unknown Profile, Path: E:\TV Shows\Mars (2016)\Season 2\2x05 - Power Play.mkv, isEligibleForDirectPlay: False, isEligibleForDirectStream: True2019-01-18 13:38:23.659 Info App: Bitrate exceeds DirectPlay limit: media bitrate: 976336, max bitrate: 3200002019-01-18 13:38:23.659 Info App: Profile: Unknown Profile, Path: E:\TV Shows\Magic City (2012)\Season 2\2x04 - Crossroads.mp4, isEligibleForDirectPlay: False, isEligibleForDirectStream: True its like the server called both episodes at once or something?
Luke 42078 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 We'll be revamping this in an upcoming update. Thanks. 1
goldsworthy1 5 Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 deleted my library.db file for another issue, but it looks like its solved this as well.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 deleted my library.db file for another issue, but it looks like its solved this as well. Did you restore userdata from backup? Or was this just a new database?
vmcosco 24 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Just finished migrating my Emby server to a new system. Everything went very smoothly. I am having one very peculiar issue with my Next Up TV section on the main page. All of my play states imported just fine. However, initially, Portlandia S02E05 was showing in Next Up despite the fact that I hadn't watched any episodes in that season. I watched an episode of a different show. When I came back to the home screen, Portlandia was gone but now Gotham S04E07 was showing in Next Up even though I have not watched a show from that season. I watched a an episode of a different show. When I came back to the home screen, Gotham was gone but now The Wire S02E5 was showing in Next Up even though I have not watched a show from that season. So essentially, any time I was an episode, a new random episode that should not be there shows in Next Up. Everything else in Next Up is as it should be.
vmcosco 24 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Running the current version of Emby. I just migrated my install to a new system. Everything went great. Since moving things, the one issue I am seeing is with Next Up episodes and is very odd... Yesterday, I noticed that my Next Up episodes were spot on except for one. Portlandia S02E04 was showing in Next Up when I had never watched an episode in that season. I then proceeded to watch an episode of a different show. After that show, I returned to the home screen to find that Portlandia S02E04 was gone, but now Gotham S04E03 was showing in Next up despite the fact that I had never watched an episode in that season. I proceeded to watch an episode of a different show. After that, I returned back to the home screen to find the Gotham S04E03 was gone, but now The Wire S02E05 was showing in Next up despite the fact that I had never watched an episode in that season. Very strange. Anyone else experienced this in Next Up? Thoughts on fixing?
