Just upgraded server to 4.0, on my phone and browser I see option for different versions on TV shows but not on the LG app. Defaulting to 1080p max, not able to get 4k. Odd thing is if I go to continue watching episode then I see the option. It seems that the default vertical season view has no option to change version since once you click on an episode it starts playing right away.

Thanks, I was most excited for multiversion TV with this update. Bummed to see it not work for LG. Only work around I have is to fast forward few minutes then exit back to home and click continue watching the episode to get the select options.

Would this be a server or app side fix?

The app will need adjustment to not go straight into playback, and instead open up the detail screen for the episode.

Is there another workaround besides the one I mentioned? I have 4k of game of thrones and Westworld which I'd like to be able to watch easily.

If you can get to the episode directly from the home screen, yes

It's been there for over six months now, is there anything that can be done about that or should we just not expect it to ever happen?

So, got the update today and am still unable to select different versions of the episode as I can with movies. Was this removed from the update?

Right, it's because in the episode list it just plays and does not navigate to the detail screen. If you play an episode from the home screen then you'll be able to get to the detail screen. We'll look into this. Thanks.
