revengineer 142 Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 With arrival of v4.0, I am thinking about starting fresh with my library. I know I can back up the user settings with the plugin. The only other thing is the mapping of titles (file names) to IMDB IDs. I had to manually adjust this for quite a few titles. Where are the stored? Is this all in library.db? Thanks in advance for responses.

revengineer 142 Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 Thanks, Luke. Since v4 will rebuild the database, I was thinking of deleting the library.db file prior to installation. I do have the nfo metadata files stored along with my movies in the same directory where the movies are stored. Is this sufficient for emby to restore the database with the movie metadata as I previously identified it?

revengineer 142 Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 Ah, good point. I do care about this for TV shows, not so much for movies. I may just leave library.db alone then. Looking forward to the new release, although v3.5.3 has really worked well overall.
