Post Processing...moving TS files to monitor folder?

Hello folks,

Hoping someone has an answer and can help me out.

I am using VAP to post process my recorded video files for commercial detection and deletion. Problem is I have to move the TS files by hand because VAP can not monitor subdirectories.

Does anyone have a batch file or can tell me what they use to monitor and move completed TS video files a a specific directory?

Thanks!

Mark

Ok. @@CBers may have some post processing tips.

Nope, other than this.

Why not just use the post processing facilities built into Emby to move the file into a directory that VAP can monitor?

Yes that is possible.

Sounds interesting! Where can I find out more information about how to do this? I do not see a "post processing" entry in the Wiki.

Thanks,

Mark

Well no, you would have to write your own application or script to do that work. The Emby post processor can then launch your script or application. You can learn more on our Live TV wiki:

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !

The wiki does not contain anything on PP but

see the link Cbers provided above to get you started on how to use a PP script

The notes i wrote will give you an explanation of what it does etc

It does not move the finished file (as it saves it alongside the original) - but you can easily change this

Yeah....I know nothing about running scripts.

Thanks anyway,
