TheSainted1 1 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Removed QMONO, installed newest v4.0.0.1 x31 pkg. I cna't seem to connect externally from my network anymore. I can login, it sees my library but as soon as I click on a movie, circle just spins. Port forwarding all worked before this and haven't changed ports. Is anyone else having this issue?
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 12, 2019 Author Posted January 12, 2019 I should note: Using a Samsung Galaxy S8+ w/ Emby for android v 3.8 on LTE connects but does not play video. Circle just spins. What logs does anyone need?
Luke 42077 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Hi there, please attach the emby server log. Thanks.
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 Serbver Log from tonight trying to connect from my phone. embyserver.txt
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 No to both, NAS is static reserved IP, ISP modem supplying DCHP/port forwarding services directly through an unmanaged switch.
Luke 42077 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Connectivity Please try the steps listed there and let us know which ones succeed and which ones do not. thanks !
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Already done that an canyouseeme.org verifies that the service is available on 8096

Luke 42077 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 What app are you trying to login with remotely?
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Android app. Web app opens too but the web player has always given me the "no compatible streams error". I always use the emby for android app
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Update - I uninstalled android app, reinstalled, movie played, started another no problem. Closed and reioen d, now get the spinning circle again
Luke 42077 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Does the server dashboard show the correct remote address?
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Yes. Strangely enough, it's working again. I uninstalled the android app, cleared cache before doing so, reinstalled and now they are playing.
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Thanks for the help Luke, now to research the web version and the compatible streams issue
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 (edited) I've kinda given up. It's not working external again, internally, works like a hot damn. I'll wait for next update on NAS and Android app. I'll work on getting the web version working for now, hopefully that is more fruitful If you have any other testing needing done, let me know. Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Can you supply the server log from the web app playback attempt? thanks.
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Reading the Android app, says it now requires a subscription for playback but here is me trying from my phone on LTE (No Compatible Streams Available error) embyserver2.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Can you please attach the complete emby server log, from the beginning, as well as the hardware detect log? Thanks.
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Attached. hardwaredetection.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Ok, I think you're running into the problem here that we are looking into: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/66851-qnap-arm-cpu-playback-error-no-compatible-streams-are-currently-available Thanks.
TheSainted1 1 Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Ok, thanks. As for the android app, is it that I need a subscription now for playback? This had worked in the past, I think older version I was running was 3.6.x.x and qmono 4.4.8.1
Luke 42077 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Either sub or unlock. If it's not showing you the unlock option then it may have lost connection to the play store. If you have unlocked previously then it will honor that of course. Does that answer your question on that?
