christhes 2 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Yes - I just did them all over again, just to make sure. All I can think of is that either there's a setting in Theater that I'm doing wrong (it's not the acceleration setting, I've got that set to 'none'), or there's something wrong with my mpv.conf file. 1

What about the parameter in the MPV pipe thing? I mean in svp parameter the Emby-pipe is there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
christhes 2 Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Yes, everything is exactly the way it is in the image on that thread. I have noticed with my testing that if I just run mpv.exe and drop a video in, when I run it from the svp folder it works and if I run it from the emby folder it doesn't, even though I copied the executable following the instructions.
jscoys 147 Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 Where is the mpv.conf located and did you take it from the svp directory also? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest asrequested Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 (edited) Your mpv.conf should look like this; input-ipc-server=mpvpipe hwdec-codecs=all no-resume-playback According to the SVP docs, you can use copyback modes for hardware acceleration. So, with that config, try setting Theater to auto copyback. Edited February 2, 2019 by Doofus
