Spaceboy 2573 Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 When downloading a series to a mobile device, if you want subtitles to be included you have to download each item separately. can a check box be added on the download options screen to include subtitles please. then this can be done at series or season level. 1
neik 873 Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 +1 This really is needed! Subs are part of the whole and need to be included.
Luke 42079 Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 Yes we do need to add more control around this, but let me explain a little more what happens. It currently goes by your emby user preferences, the user who is downloading. and this includes remembering last selected tracks. This kind of automagic behavior can leave you guessing as to why you're not getting subtitles as part of the download, so yes, we need to get options for this into the download dialog. 1

So I haven’t watched the show, not under my admin a/c and she hasn’t watched it at all. So yes more flexibility required please.
neik 873 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 @@Luke, any progress on this? On Android it still does not sync, always using latest beta.
Luke 42079 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Currently subtitles go by your emby user preferences, the user who is downloading. and this includes remembering last selected tracks. This can leave you guessing as to why you're not getting subtitles as part of the download, so yes, we need to get options for this into the download dialog. You could as a workaround configure your emby user to always play subtitles. Thanks.
