Downloading with Subs

When downloading a series to a mobile device, if you want subtitles to be included you have to download each item separately. can a check box be added on the download options screen to include subtitles please. then this can be done at series or season level.

Yes we do need to add more control around this, but let me explain a little more what happens.

 

It currently goes by your emby user preferences, the user who is downloading. and this includes remembering last selected tracks. This kind of automagic behavior can leave you guessing as to why you're not getting subtitles as part of the download, so yes, we need to get options for this into the download dialog.

ok well in this instance I, the admin, was using the functionality to try and download some stuff to my mums iPad so she can watch it with subs. So I haven’t watched the show, not under my admin a/c and she hasn’t watched it at all. So yes more flexibility required please.

On Android it still does not sync, always using latest beta.

You could as a workaround configure your emby user to always play subtitles. Thanks.
