jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) All of my dual audio video files do not play. I have the latest version of Emby app and server. On the other hand, the web player works fine. Edited December 29, 2018 by jaimedelano

jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Now I guess the issue is not related to multiple audio tracks as some videos with just one audio track do not play too. embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Hi there, can you please update to the latest version of Emby Server?
jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Is not v3.4.1.0 the latest version of Emby Server for Docker?I have another server (v3.6.0.81 beta) with the same problem.
jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Please check the log file from Emby Server v3.6.0.81 beta embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 The latest stable is 3.5.3, so you could have done that, or the beta. What happened with the beta? Thanks.
jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Emby Server v3.6.0.81 beta can't play some video files including the same aforementioned files.1 - How can I upgrade my Emby container to v3.5.3?docker pull emby/embyserver:latest does not download the latest version2 - Please move this topic to correct forum: Android Mobile
Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 You cannot go backwards from 3.6 to 3.5, so now that you're on 3.6, let's look at what's going on. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Was there an ffmpeg log? can you please attach that as well? Thanks.
jaimedelano 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) There are not any FFmpeg logs regarding these attempts to play the video. Edited December 29, 2018 by jaimedelano
Luke 42077 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Is it possible to provide a sample video for testing? thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Are you sure these are the right samples? I downloaded the first one and it only has a single audio track, and I had no problems playing it in our mobile android app. thanks.
jaimedelano 1 Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 (edited) Sorry. The bug is not related to multiple audio tracks. I found out that the error occurs with files in a network folder (NFS). Local video files play fine. Some videos in this NFS share play fine but others don't. Please check this log lines It plays OK (local file) 2018-12-30 23:12:56.006 Info HttpResultFactory: Setting range response values for /storage/www/Realityhigh.mp4.RangeRequest: bytes=0- Content-Length: 1078884969, Content-Range: bytes 0-1078884968/1078884969 Doesn't play (NFS mount) 2018-12-31 00:04:32.838 Info HttpResultFactory: Setting range response values for /storage/iptv/filmes/move/#Realityhigh.mp4.RangeRequest: bytes=0- Content-Length: 62, Content-Range: bytes 0-61/62 Edited December 31, 2018 by jaimedelano

jaimedelano 1 Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 Emby Theater and Android TV play the videos. Is there any way to debug the Android Mobile app?
Luke 42077 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 It's definitely an issue on the server due to the nfs mount. It's not an issue in the mobile app.
jaimedelano 1 Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 What do you suggest I do? I have two servers v3.5.3 and v3.6.0.81 (beta).
Luke 42077 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I'm going to look through the .net core repository for any reported issues related to this. The most practical advise i can give is not to use the mounts, because i have a feeling this issue is out of our control. Thanks.
jaimedelano 1 Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) When error ocurrs it seems the server serve up partial contents of the video file.2019-01-01 13:56:26.826 Debug HttpResultFactory: Transmit file /storage/iptv/filmes/pro/#HORROR.mp42019-01-01 13:56:27.026 Info HttpServer: SocketException: http://MY_SERVER_IP:8096/emby/Videos/7442/stream.mp4?Static=true&mediaSourceId=XXX&deviceId=YYY&api_key=ZZZcurl -L 'http://MY_SERVER_IP:8096/emby/Videos/7442/stream.mp4?Static=true&mediaSourceId=08aafed7364a23f17cb2ad1c8ef78aae&deviceId=XXX'$ftypisomisomiso2avc1iso6mp41moovlmvhd If I replace Static=true with Static=false in the URL, I can see the whole video contents:curl -L 'http://MY_SERVER_IP:8096/emby/Videos/7442/stream.mp4?Static=false&mediaSourceId=08aafed7364a23f17cb2ad1c8ef78aae&deviceId=XXX'<751 MB of video here> Edited January 1, 2019 by jaimedelano
