hello

 

i want change my Emby server address from localhost:8096 /192.168.12.44:8096  to    any.net.pk:8096         is this possible

Yes, set it under the advanced section and restart Emby for it to appear.

 

EDIT: Just saw that you want to hide the local address...

Why do you want to change that for the LAN address?

i don't want show my server IP Addressee to my local user

Just make sure if you change it to a non-public or internally routed domain, you have a local DNS server on your network that you're pointing your devices to, or you're going to have to hardcode the entry in every device's host file.

This is what I was thinking as well.  Every device will have to be set up. And it will still be trivial for any user to determine the IP address.

You could also use the host name of that computer instead.

 

http://hostname:0896

 

You are actually doing it from the image you have attached using localhost.  Other computers would just have to use the name of that computer instead.
