Car Dash Camera

I want to install a dash camera for my car and was looking for any suggestions, things to look for or avoid from anyone using one.

I use the Vantrue N2 Pro with the GPS module and also bought the hardware kit to install to my fuse panel. I have tried some of the cheaper ones, usually only last for a few months and picture is not always the best. This is a little more on the expensive side, but as many of the cheaper ones I've replaced, I should have bought this in the first place and would have saved myself money.
