kelly.clubb 8 Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 So my issue is really weird. I play an episode of a tv show and when it says next episode it will just spin and never load. If I hit F5 in the web browser I have a white background which I am running a theme and no icons and have to hit the back button. If I just hit the back button my theme is gone but it appears to go back to my list of shows. Things to note: • Running on a Windows Server 2016 box• Windows Updates are current • Premium Account Things I have tried • Restart Emby • Reboot machine • Try another web browser • Clear cache on both on browser and Emby • Delete transcode cache (granted it is direct streaming to me personally) I am lost with what to do... This has been going on for weeks and I really would like to resolve it.
Luke 42085 Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
kelly.clubb 8 Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Here is the recent server log files. embyserver.txt embyserver-63681638399.txt embyserver-63681465599.txt embyserver-63681423054.txt embyserver-63681379199.txt embyserver-63681551999.txt
Luke 42085 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Hi, around what day and time did the issue occur? These logs are filled with chromecast activity so it's a little hard to differentiate. Thanks !
kelly.clubb 8 Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 1 to 2 months ago is when I noticed it. I have lots of friends that watch content on my Emby. I don't know if the issue happens with the chromecast or emby theater or mobile devices. I guess I'll check my phone to see if it only happens on a browser. No one else has complained about it.
kelly.clubb 8 Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 No it happened yesterday and the several days before when I watched. I will say however that I changed the location of metadata and cache and transcoding and today it seems to be working right on my browser for the 1st time.... Crossing my fingers maybe moving those files to a new physical location may have fixed things.... I'll let you know if it happens again...
