VLC Crashing Emby

Gents, can you advise why VLC is crashing Emby for Windows Media Centwer please? When a programme ends, VLC fades to the background but EWMC is not popping back up and when I bring it back up, I get an error message. See attachments.

Luke,is there a setting in VLC like MPC-HC where you have to check the web interface for it to listen to port 13579 (launch in browser)

But i really would suggest thinking about using a more modern player such as Emby Theater.

I have created a thread in Theater. Have installed but having some strange issues. Report back there.
