How to play multiple genres

Hi,

 

I am trying out Emby for music playback. In the "genre" tag of my music files I save things such as "Electropop", "Synth-Pop", "Pop-Rock" or just "Pop".

 

I would like to play all files that contain the word "pop" in their genre (so it matches all of the genres mentioned above). I could not intuitively figure out how to do that. Can anybody please give me a hint on how I can play all genres that match a given search query at once (shuffled would be perfect)?

Only way I can think of would be adding those items to a playlist.

or add "Pop" to the first three as an extra genre

Hi, currently you'd have to start playing one and then queue the rest.

 

But I agree this is something we should look at supporting using the multi select tool.
