Free to play for friends? Tried Emby Theater for Windows

A friend wanted access to my Emby server, so he created an account and i sent an invite.

 

Then he downloaded the "Emby Theater for Windows". And it says he needs to have a subscription plan to be able to play my content.

 

So how should my friends be able to use my content for free?
Is there another windows solution then Emby Theater for Windows that is free, that my friend can install?

 

It seems to be free to watch via browser, i use my browser myself, but he doesn't like to use the browser for it, he wants a standalone program.
