PuffyToesToo 346 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 I had this problem as well with this last release. I was finally able to get rid of it (or at least its appearance) by deleting all the items from the playlist. Onerous, but it worked. 1
Luke 42078 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Are you logged in with the same emby user who created the playlist?
Andy of the swamp 1 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 (edited) Yes, I am logged in as the same user. The workaround suggested by PuffyToesToo worked. I manually deleted almost 200 tracks from the playlist and it now no longer appears (although I can still see it in Metadata Manager). Aside - The same workaround does not work with Genres though. I have a couple of empty Genres that I would like to delete but a) I don't see any way of doing this b ) They still display even when empty Thanks Edited May 9, 2019 by Andy of the swamp 1
hstamas 179 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 This has been an ongoing issue for some time now: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/67043-cant-delete-video-playlist/ 1
amarok 0 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 hey @@Luke that's great!! Now I just need to delete these ghost playlists. Can you help with this topic as well?
Luke 42078 Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 I've merged the topics. I'm unable to reproduce this. If you create a new playlist, does it happen with that? @@Happy2Play can you reproduce?
abescalamis 84 Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I think you should merge this topic too, it seems its also related. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/73025-weird-behaviour-with-playlist/&do=findComment&comment=740454
amarok 0 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 @@Luke any specific advice how to delete all these playlists: they are not visible in the playlist section, until I add some tracks. Then they show up, but the option menu (pic below) does not allow me to delete them (I am Admin)
amarok 0 Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 @@Luke ok if you can not reproduce it, maybe you can help me to find the place, where emby is caching these playlists. Because I have manually deleted these playlists in the playlist folder, but they show up in emby in the metadata editor and in the "add to playlist" window. Is there an internal database or something similar? How does this work with emby?
