External Subtitles Not Playing

I am trying to play a movie with external subtitles (.srt file) but they will not load.  I attached the log file for your reference.

 

Any help is appreciated!

hi luke!  i did and it will try to load but then nothing; it will just then play without the subtitles loaded.  let me know if you need any additonal info/logs.

Can you please attach the emby server log as well? thanks.

here you go---just tried it again and noticed when it first plays it shows "remux" then tries to load the substitles and CC indicator goes back to off.

so the audio profile for the movie file is FLAC so i used the convert tool to save another version of the movie.  The audio profile is now AAC which did the trick and is playing the external sub.  anyway i'm ok with this fix and will convert my other movies with similar issues.

You can still view external subtitles using Emby applications.

 

Using a web browser, the caption is displayed normally.

Hi, yes, some customers informed yesterday and when checking, I confirmed the problem, which occurs only in the app emby.

 

I tested only on android and iOS.
