Question about my library scan

When I open the web app, I can see my music in the Suggestions, Albums, and Songs categories, but if I click on Artists or Album Artists, I see only three artists.  I have tried in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari

Is all your music tagged (ID3... MB Picard, et al)? That's where Emby reads those details from.

What is your music library folder structure?  Have you looked at the track tags?

Well, not all of it, but most of it.  ID3.  I don't know about MB Picard.  I can say that I used EAC to rip it and labeled everything manually if not automagically. When I play from other software, and when I go to other categories, the album info is clearly there.

Is is:

.\Music

    \Artist Name

          \Album Name

               \Artist Name-Track Name.mp3

Although in some cases, I also have track number in the filename for sorting:

               \NN Artist Name-Track Name.mp3

Track number, track name, album name, and artist name are all in meta data, however.

Well, never mind.  This morning, the records are all there on both Album Artists and Artists sections.

 

I think it may have been indexing situation, but I waited to post the original post until well after it had reached 100%.
