Does the "Quality" setting work?

I've got a few Android boxes in my house and something I've noticed if setting the quality to 144p doesnt actually work inside the Android apps on any of my Android devices.  I have to load a web-browser, go to Emby online, and play from there and it does work.  Is this a known deficiency with the Emby app?
