nekromantik 24 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) Hi all I am running Emby Server in a docker container and have exposed it via HTTPS for remote viewing. However I cannot seem to load the plugin catalogue at all. Its not a outgoing network issue as I can shell into the container and wget google and other sites. Attached is log. Any suggestions? Thanks emby.log Edited December 20, 2018 by nekromantik
Luke 42079 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Hi, what networking mode are you using on the container? There does appear to be a problem sending outgoing requests. Our plugin listings come from our admin domain, https://mb3admin.com
nekromantik 24 Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 Hi, what networking mode are you using on the container? There does appear to be a problem sending outgoing requests. Our plugin listings come from our admin domain, https://mb3admin.com Hi I am using Bridged mode. There is no outgoing issues as like I mentioned if you exec into the emby container you can wget or ping internet addresses. None of my other containers on same server have any issues connecting out.
nekromantik 24 Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 So the issue is, if you wget https://mb3admin.com it tries to connect to IPV6 address and fails as IPV6 is disabled on my network. All other URLs work correctly as they connect via IPv4 IP address. I am using the official beta server container from Emby. So this is a bug with the container.
nekromantik 24 Posted December 22, 2018 Author Posted December 22, 2018 this has been sorted. looks it was not a issue with my container as I made no changes and it started to work again so it must have been a issue on server side.
