Hardware Acceleration Support check?

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

I am running Emby on a low power ARM SBC, since it is quite sufficient for my needs.

Still I was thinking about activating Hardware Acceleration for edge cases.

Is there a way to check if my hardware even supports Hardware Acceleration before paying for Premiere?

I don't need any of the other features of premiere, that's why I don't want to buy the cat in the bag so to speak.

If anyone could help me out would be greatly appreciated.

You're better off converting the edge cases to a format that can be direct played than to buy premiere just for HA, especially if you don't care about the other features.  However, I'd imagine the devs would appreciate the donation if you end up using the product :)

Yes on the transcoding settings page, change the setting from yes to advanced and take a look at what shows up. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
