T800 10 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I've had this one for a while but not had chance to sort it until now. Emby server will just go offline. I have to open Activity Monitor, locate "Electron" and quit it. Most times it will start again by selecting the Emby Server app, other times I have to reboot. I've attached the server log and the last two transcode logs. The last transcode log has a last modified at 22.30 last night and we weren't watching anything at the time but I can't say for sure another user wasn't. I've no idea if the transcode log helps or not. I'm running 3.5.3.0 embyserver.txt.zip ffmpeg-transcode-79ff3e94-491b-48f6-9395-1602d19bed06.txt ffmpeg-transcode-cd4db782-e756-48d4-8221-f68c8a7e2622.txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Hi, can you try removing the kodi plugin to see if this has any impact? Thanks.
T800 10 Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 I've done that, see how it goes. Thanks
T800 10 Posted January 2, 2019 Author Posted January 2, 2019 After two days it hadn't crashed but heading into Christmas having it turned off didn't work for us. I turned it back on and lasted a week before it crashed and now it's back to every day.
T800 10 Posted January 2, 2019 Author Posted January 2, 2019 Tried accessing Emby this morning at 11.22. It loaded main page, then crashed when clicking on TV Shows. I've added the log. embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Can you try removing the Kodi sync plugin? Thanks.
T800 10 Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 How long do I remove it for? I can remove it again but then what do I do? My main box uses the Kodi plugin. I honestly don't want to sound ungrateful. As much as a pain it is I would prefer to restart the Emby every day than run for a long time without the plugin.
Luke 42077 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 We'll have the new 3.6 release out very soon. Thanks.
