dcol 175 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I noticed that during a Live TV recording, there is a record-transcode log created. Does that mean that the recording is going through the Emby transcode engine using MPEG-2? Having Intel QSV, is that the best transcoding choice for the highest quality smoothest video?
Luke 42080 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 We suggest using default transcoding settings for the best experience. The recording transcoding process may not yet be fully utilizing all hardware acceleration features, but it is planned for the future. Thanks !
