Channel guide

Add the ability to look at the channel guide while playing a recording.

How do we know it is a recording?

It doesn't really matter if it's a previous TV recording or anything from a library.  If I'm watching anything on playback, it would also be nice to be able to get to the TV guide without stopping what I'm watching.  There's only a mechanism for this with Live TV viewing currently.

Donr't believe this was ever turned in to an FR by me.  I know @@Spaceboy was an advocate of this as well so may be he did?

Yeah, I never said NO.  I said I was concerned about the addition of another button on the OSD for a feature only a small minority may use (as compared to the other buttons that exist there now).

 

It would be nice to be able to fit this functionality in for those who want it but I don't want to sacrifice (or overly complicate) the functionality that is already there.
