Cinema Mode: custom videos between movies

I have several old drive-in "intermission" films, and I think it'd be a lot of fun if Cinema Mode could pick one of them like it does with intros, but only between two movies (like in a playlist).

This is basically what I was hoping for in my request for the ability to use a "custom intro paths" for specific categories, pointing to a custom directory for different categories. So for old movies, as you describe, or for old TV, a different set.  Thank you.

Isn't that what you can already to with custom intros with tags? I have all christmas movies with the Holiday tag and then I have a intro called holiday.ext and it plays it before all movies with the Holiday tag. 

 

I wish you could have multi per tag so it would pick one at random (so I would have holiday1.ext holiday2.ext holiday3.ext and it would pick one).

Yea, just add a tag and then have a intro in your saved path called whatever the tag is. Sorry, ext was short for extension (mp4, mkv, avi)  yea, if the tag is called Classic your intro would be called Classic.mp4.

Going attach a screen shot of my config. Anything in the intro folder. It will pick one and play.

 

A custom tag video needs to be saved in codec intro folder. If your video file is introtest.mp4, the tag for the videos would just be introtest not introtest.mp4 (Incase that’s what you called it).
