Libraries in "My Media" on Home Page

Another quick question, and this one I feel I already know the answer but wanted to check...

You can't remove a library from "My Media" and instead have it under a collection or access it via "Folders", correct?

The reason is that I have hundreds of recorded videos split into libraries based on what they are ("Son - Sports", "Kids - Birthdays", "Daughter - Sports", etc).  I could go through and metatag each video, but I don't need to...  the descriptive folder with video description and date in filename.  Works fine for me.

The problem is that I now have about twenty libraries on my home screen.  I would much prefer to put them into a "Collection" that I could name "Home Movies" or something, or just go to the Folders view and get to them from there, but I can't remove them from "My Media"...  and if I disable "My Media" I lose the "Folders" access.

I could create Collections and move the various files into it, but then new ones wouldn't automatically import into that collection as I add more.

With Plex I could create a Library at the root of the directory, then just do a folder view inside of the Library to see my hierarchy...  I don't believe that's possible here though since the Folders view is a top-level function from what I see.  (I've looked and this seems to be the answer, but most of it was over a year old so wanted to make sure)

So tl;dr, is this not possible with Emby currently?  (Not that big of a deal, just annoying to have that many options to scroll through on the home screen)

Sorry about the basic questions, I'm another Plex Roku refugee and just learning the new system.

Thanks!

Could you not just create a Library of type Home Videos & Photos and all your Libraries (which I'm guessing are actually Folders anyway i.e. you have Son - Sports, Kids - Birthdays in separate folders) to that ?

No this is not currently possible in 3.5.3.0.

But with the changes coming in 3.6 to folder view moving to a library tab should accomplish what you want.

I actually just sort of saw that.  Admitted newbie here, but when I had looked into the libraries that were displayed on the home page there was no way to do a folder view on them... so they were all mixed together under the library.

I was just playing with the 'Folders' view and realized that it will continue to do folders for subdirectories as well, so honestly that will work.   (Creating "Home Movies" with the subdirectories, and then accessing it from the Folders view.  Would be nice to remove the library from the home page also since I won't access it from there, but at least it's just one extra icon)

(edit) I just read H2P's reply and realized that I had just put the beta on both my server and Roku about 20 minutes ago.  Was that added in the beta or did I just not see it before?

(Ie. Home Page -> Folders -> "Home Movies" -> "Son - Sports Videos" -> video list)

The folders view directly on the home screen is what will be gone with the 3.6 release. Instead, each library will have the option to display by folders. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
