Not picking up certain Movies.Why

I have just installed emby onto my PC after using plex for some time. I am hoping to migrate over.I have a problem.

 

Why won't this thing pick up all of my movies,despite the fact they are named correctly? Strangely the total number listed in the dashboard matches the number of films on my HDD.However some films are not displaying

 

For example: House (1977).mkv

 

Anyone?

Apologies for the late reply Luke.Not at home at the moment so can't get to my server to check how many others just yet.

 

Using the one I mentioned in the OP as an example, the folder structure is as follows:

 

/Movies/House (1977)/House (1977).mkv/

 

Is that what you meant by structure?

**Problem solved**

 

As the movie mentioned is Japanese. I wondered if changing it to the original title would help:so it became

 

Hausu (1977).mkv

 

Bingo! It picked it up. There were 7 others missing from the dashboard too (all Japanese). So I did the same thing and my dashboard is now complete.
