Hardware Transcoding on AMD Radeon HD 6630M

Sorry for the question that I could obviously try to answer by installing myself, but I haven't been able to find anything written, and it's my friend's computer.

 

So, it's a Mac Mini running Linux.  This particular one has only the AMD Radeon HD 6630M (No integrated Intel GPU).  Is that able to be used for hardware transcoding, possibly under the new AMF acceleration?

 

I appreciate any help or direction!  :-)

Hi, on Mac it would use Apple's videotoolbox, so it's a question of whether or not that supports AMD. But if you can run MacOS on that card then I would assume so.

Thanks for answering.  Just to clarify for anyone else who may be reading, the GPU is soldiered on the logic board.
