SkyBehind 23 Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Sorry for the question that I could obviously try to answer by installing myself, but I haven't been able to find anything written, and it's my friend's computer. So, it's a Mac Mini running Linux. This particular one has only the AMD Radeon HD 6630M (No integrated Intel GPU). Is that able to be used for hardware transcoding, possibly under the new AMF acceleration? I appreciate any help or direction! :-)
Luke 42079 Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Hi, on Mac it would use Apple's videotoolbox, so it's a question of whether or not that supports AMD. But if you can run MacOS on that card then I would assume so.
