Emby Server Invites - Have to send twice?

I am in the process of switching my Plex users over to Emby....so i send them an invite to my server. Obviously, they do not have Emby accounts yet, so they get an invite to sign up. They create their account, but are STILL not able to log in to my server, unless i send them another invite. Is that normal? or am i doing something wrong? It seems silly that I would have to invite them twice.

Hi.  Yes, if they don't already have a Connect account, the first action just sends them an email to create one.  Since we have no way of knowing exactly how they will create that account, you need to then re-invite them once they do.  The message that came up after you did it the first time should have outlined that.  Do you remember if it did?

 

BTW - we are hoping to simplify this whole process in the near future.

yes, coming from Plex to Emby (which i love by the way!), i was a little put out by having to send the invite twice. Within Plex, when you send an invite, it asks the user to create the account, and if that link is used, as soon as the account is created on the Plex website, it automatically links them back to the media server, where the invite came from, without having to send out yet a 2nd invite. If you guys could make this happen in Emby, that would be awesome!
