Delete parent folders

New to emby. Switched from the other guy. Is there a way to have emby delete the parent folder when the last file has been deleted from it? A way to auto delete empty folders. I use the folder view under mixed content so everything shows up under the same tab and I don't have to worry about things getting labeled wrong. My file set up is like this.

                                                                                      c/video

                                                                                                  show name

                                                                                                                     s01e01

                                                                                                                                episode name.avi

                                                                                                                     s01e02

                                                                                                                                 episode name.avi

 

If I watch and delete both "episode name.avi" files the parent folder "show name" does not delete and is just an empty folder that shows up in the folder list with nothing in it. My files are auto extracted to this folder structure. I have searched around and have not been able to find a way for emby to do this. I also looked for a separate program that would run in the background and watch for and delete empty folders with no luck.   Thanks for any help

There are several feature requests for similar action.  But to me if you are watching a "Continuing" Series why would you want to spam the providers every time you get a new episode?

Thanks for the reply. Just as an FYI I don't care if any meta data is present in folder view but I see what you are talking about.
