Don't need any help, this is just an FYI post about resource consumption

Quick edit.... the high CPU consumption.... that live TV stream. It always puts a tiny bit of overhead on the system and I had sub-titles turned on for my home movie (which also ads a tiny bit of overheard). BTW, I'm using Emby 3.6.0.76 BETA.

Linux Mint 19

i7-7700K

16 gigs of RAM

2 gigs swap file

(OS and transcoding dir on SSDs)

Stream 1 was a 25Mbps 1080i home movie to an Apple TV 4

Stream 2 - 720p to a Roku 3

Stream 3 - 720p to a Roku 3

Stream 4 - 720p to Apple TV 4

Stream 5 - 720p to Roku 3

Stream 6 - 4Mbps live TV stream to my brother

AND, a friend was pulling a 720p movie to an Android tablet (4Mbps) on Plex (Plex and Emby are currently running on the same server)

Just posting this since I see a LOT of people on the Plex forums absolutely hating the latest Roku Plex update and folks talking about jumping ship to Emby. Some guy on there was complaining about not finding updated hardware requirements for Emby other than some page from 2014. I guess this post is for him........ if Plex runs good on your hardware, I'm positive Emby will as well!
