Danysupernova 0 Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Hi guys, first of all sorry for my poor English , I have a question about this splendid software. I have an old Plasma TV SD (848x480) with overscan enabled by the default on hdmi port, which handles only 720p and 1080i resolution. On my emby server I have more videos with "strange" resolution (for example 1280x630) and the result is that when I cast to chromecast this videos, chromecast display this videos with native video resolution, without normalizing it unlike what a PC connected to the TV would do, with the result that the video is displayed with green lines. I know it's not an Emby's fault, but my question is: apart buy new tv or converting videos to a standard resolution, is there a way to tell emby to send videos to Chromecast at a fixed resolution that is the same for everyone? Thank you very much !
Danysupernova 0 Posted December 10, 2018 Author Posted December 10, 2018 Hi, on my old tv , it's his problem with overscan at non-standard resolutions, but in your opinion is there any way to tell Emby to "standardize" the output? Thank you
