Kinv 0 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Hi, I am having an issue with the feature that allows a dropdown box for multiple movies rather than having them as separate items. Using Version 3.6.0.73 beta (also tested using stable - no changes) Have followed the wiki re. naming Files are in the same folder Folder format; Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).mkv - 1080.strm Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).mkv - 720p.strm However It works with tv shows; /The Expanse/Season 01 The Expanse - s01e01 - Dulcinea.mkv - 1080.strm The Expanse - s01e01 - Dulcinea.mkv - 720.strm This results in one item (e01) with the dropdown box to chose the 1080p file or 720 file (as intended) So my question is, does anyone know why this isn't working as intended for movies? As far as I can see naming conforms with what emby expects for this to work. It does work with tv shows, file names are very similar to that of movies. Appreciate any advice. Thanks, Kinv
Luke 42078 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Please compare to the naming guidelines in our wiki as they can be a little strict. Thanks.
Kinv 0 Posted November 30, 2018 Author Posted November 30, 2018 Hi Luke, Thanks for the reply. I have been staring at this for some time, and have tried re-naming the files to no avail. To my eyes the naming scheme is correct. Perhaps another set of eyes could tell me where the issue is? I tried taking out the (2018) thinking maybe that caused an issue. - nope I tried taking out the .mkv - nope. The naming in the wiki states it must have *space* - *space words This is how my naming is set up, and it works for tv shows. But not movies. Im at a total loss. I dont ask for advice lightly, only when I feel I have exhausted everything I can think of and all of my searching. This may be a simple naming problem, I would say it most likely is. But I just cannot see the issue
