ebr 16169 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Any updates with regards to telstra? Sorry, no. It is not a fast process and they get to select whom they allow. We are working on it. 1
jack1574 2 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 That's fine, I guess it is our own fault for not speaking up sooner. this has been going on for years and never really bothered me until plex showed up as a native app. ill keep checking in from time to time to see if there is any news. Cheers
jack1574 2 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Since version 4 of the windows server my roku plays video's with a green flickering. it's now unusable. Really hoping things with telstra work out soon. Cheers
speechles 2055 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) That green flicker might mean hardware accelerated transcoding. If you disable hardware acceleration does the green flicker stop? Edited January 28, 2019 by speechles
jack1574 2 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Just came back to say i think the problem is the hardware acceleration, turned it off last night and the problems seem to have gone away. my server runs an intel on-board gfx card, is that a problem?
jack1574 2 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 10.18.10.4425 04/04/2016 it's running on homeserver 2011 and that was the last driver for it. might have to put an actual discrete gfx card in.

Luke 42077 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Is there a release coming soon? Hi there, is there something in particular you're looking for? Thanks !
mix123 1 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Hi there, is there something in particular you're looking for? Thanks ! Yes. Ability to go to a channel with no info in the guide. Also live tv continue to play with guide overlay.
ebr 16169 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Yes. Ability to go to a channel with no info in the guide. Can you please explain this in more detail? Thanks.
mix123 1 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 A channel in the guide with no guide information doesn't allow you to go to the channel. It shows in the guide but you can't go to the channel. It's pointless. It either shouldn't even show in the guide or if you select the channel you should be able to go to it.

ebr 16169 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Apologies. I thought this was fixed a long time ago. Edit: It was - just not in the way you were expecting. Hit the "Play" button on your Roku remote and the channel will start. We'll make it so OK does the same thing. Thanks.
speechles 2055 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 That's what I was told a few weeks ago Reference: Issue #219: LiveTV - Lack of overview makes an item unplayable Apologies we lost track of this earlier. We assumed we fixed it but we must still have work to do in this area. It is now on the tracker and getting visibility. Thanks for reminding us.

Is there any public facing version of your issue tracker? Or a git issues I could look at for the Roku App?
Luke 42077 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The forum is essentially our public issue tracker.
Luke 42077 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 We have submitted our request. You could voice your opinion to them on Twitter to help our case if you like.

jack1574 2 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 So it took plex over a year to get added to the telstra store. the bar has been set, VERY LOW.... are you sure there is no way to side load a current version of the roku app?

jack1574 2 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Since January, has Telstra even acknowledged the existence of emby???
